Pre-Fair Report Summer 2011: 100 Times TrendSet

Category: Pressemeldungen

Munich attracts with more exhibitors, brands, and collections. For the 100th fair anniversary of “TrendSet - International Consumer Goods Trade Fair for Lifestyle” from 7 to 9 July 2012, all nine halls at Messe Mün-chen (Munich Trade Fair Centre) are occupied down to the last stand.

The exhibitors, again including the big brand names and importers of the industry sector as well as specialty and niche suppliers—most of them having accompanied TrendSet a long time through its successful history—cannot pass up a chance to celebrate along when the largest and most successful exhibition of its kind in the southern German-speaking region celebrates. And how does TrendSet celebrate? It’s quite simple: with more international brands and lines, many newcomers again, and a gigantic selection of trends and new products—now more clearly arranged than ever before.

For its jubilee, TrendSet continues to be true to its recipe of success: It is the most important platform for ordering in the southern German-speaking region for all the many large and small products that make life more beautiful. “This is why we are more delighted than ever that for the anniversary event, more exhibitors than ever before are taking advantage of TrendSet to present their latest products and bestsellers,” explains Tatjana Pannier, TrendSet Managing Director. For the first time at TrendSet, more than 2,500 brands and lines from over 40 countries are on display. These include brand new products that are being introduced at TrendSet to the trade for the very first time. The main themes of the summer exhibition are classically reordering for the Christmas business and a look to the coming Spring 2013 season.

For years, attendees from mid- and southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, northern Italy, and the neighbouring eastern EU member states have come to TrendSet to order and bring themselves up to date on trends and new products. In addition to the variety and quality of the displayed products, they especially value the pleasant atmosphere of the fair, the professional organization of the fair, and the clearly arranged structure of and way to get around the fair. Precisely the latter has now become more detailed and clearer. TrendSet is now newly organized into 14 living and lifestyle areas. This permits visitors to order more easily and in a more targeted fashion, leaving more time to discover new things.

What has changed regarding how TrendSet is structured? TrendSet has grown over the years. More and more exhibitors are showing even more products. So that the high-quality design and room objects at TrendSet can reach their full effect better, there is now a new area for them: Design, Accessories, Lifestyle. This is distributed over Hall A2 and Hall B4. The numerous exhibitors with seasonal decorative articles for Christmas and other festive occasions were always together in a hall at TrendSet—now attendees can find them even more easily designated with a fitting name (Decorations, Christmas, Festive Decor) in Hall B2. The same is true for exhibitors with products for office, school, and stationer’s shops. Before, they exhibited in the large area Papeterie; now they are still sharing Hall B1 with postcards and gift packaging, but they can now differentiate themselves more clearly with their own category, and as a result can be better taken notice of.

The 14 living and lifestyle areas of TrendSet are:
